A Levels are Level 3 subjects which are taken over two years. They are ideal if you enjoyed a subject at GCSE and want to continue to study it at the next level - and maybe at university in the future.
A Level courses are suitable if you enjoy a more academic style of learning. They develop the knowledge, skills and study habits needed to excel at university - as well as the attributes recognised by employers worldwide.
Your academic studies will be complemented with an array of enrichment opportunities and you will be encouraged to get involved in one of our Academies to help further develop your knowledge and understanding.
Most students identify three subjects that they are interested in studying. Alternatively,聽you might decide to combine two A Levels with one BTEC option (for example Sociology, Biology and BTEC Health and Social Care).
Universities can be very specific about the聽A Level subject combinations required for entry onto courses, so when you are deciding what subjects to choose, it鈥檚 a good idea to check what combination is right for you and your聽next steps. We can offer advice and guidance to help you choose the subjects that are right聽for you and your future.

We offer a range of Academies in topics that traverse all our subject areas such as VETMED, STEM and Creative Industries. When you join an Academy, you will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of your chosen subjects and help you prepare for university and the career of your choice.
